In March 2024 several members of the Syracuse University Gravitational-Wave Center traveled to the LIGO Hanford Observatory to help ready the the observatory for the second half of the O4 observation run. The LIGO Hanford observatory received an entirely new output mode cleaner, as well as upgrades to the vacuum squeezer.
